United's Polaris Business Class on the new 787-9 "Elevated" interior: 56 fully enclosed suites in a 1-2-1 layout with sliding privacy doors, direct aisle access, and lie-flat beds. Center seats alternate orientation by cabin section (reverse herringbone in the forward cabin, herringbone in the rear cabin).

United’s long-haul Business Class product on the 787-9 is a 1-2-1 layout of lie-flat suites (marketed as Polaris), with alternating seat orientations by row; the 787-9 currently commonly operates with 48 Polaris seats across two business cabins (forward and aft).
