Signature Class

Air Canada's Signature Class on the Boeing 787-9 is a Collins Aerospace Super Diamond reverse-herringbone seat in a 1-2-1 layout — 30 seats across rows 1–8 in a single cabin — giving every passenger direct aisle access. Each "Executive Pod" angles away from the aisle and converts to a fully flat bed roughly 200 cm long at about 53 cm (21 in) wide at the seat position. Seats feature lumbar support and a massage function, a personal high-definition IFE monitor, side storage, and universal power. There is no privacy door; separation comes from the angled shell and side console.

Strategic Seating
- Window seats (A/K) for solo travellers — angled away from neighbours for the most privacy
- Front rows of the cabin for a quieter position away from the galley
- Rear rows nearest the galley or premium-economy divider may see more foot traffic
- Center pairs (D/G) are closest together — less private than the window pods for solo travel
How to book this cabin
Airlines may change equipment at any time. To ensure you get the 787-9 (789), always check the seat map during and after booking.
Look for these hints:
- Look for "787-9" or "789"
- Reverse-herringbone pods angled away from the aisle; window seats face inward toward the aisle
- Single business cabin of 30 seats across rows 1–8 (no rear J section, unlike the 777)
- No privacy door — open Super Diamond shell with side console
- Collins Super Diamond hardware shared with Air Canada's 777 Signature cabin
