Route guide
Best Business Class from the USA to Europe
47 tracked routes · 11 departure cities · 23 airlines
We track 47 routes from the USA to Europe, flown by 23 airlines. The best business cabin we have measured on any of them scores 9.7/10; on the weakest route the best you can do is 6.0/10. That gap is the whole reason to check before booking — the same fare buys very different seats depending on which city you leave from.
This covers the routes we track between the USA and Europe — not every route flown, and only the cabins we have measured. Scores come from seat metrics; the odds of actually getting a given cabin come from Flightradar24 history on each route's own page.

How This Ranking Is Built
Each route is ranked by the highest-scoring business cabin we have measured on it. Scores come from seat metrics — width, bed length, recline, direct aisle access, privacy, and cabin density — not from reviews. Full methodology.
A high score is what the best cabin on the route is worth, not a promise you will get it. Most carriers are mid-retrofit, so two aircraft on the same route the same week can be a generation apart; each route page shows the observed equipment mix, which is the number that decides your seat.
Coverage is partial in both directions: we track 47 routes between the USA and Europe, and we score a subset of the cabins flying them. A route or airline missing here is a gap in our data, not a judgement.
