Lufthansa's A330-300 Business Class features 42 B/E Aerospace Diamond lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration across seven rows, split into a five-row forward cabin and a two-row rear mini-cabin. Seats convert to fully flat beds but are arranged in an angled, alternating pattern: window seats (A/K) face forward, while center-section pairs (D/G) are angled slightly toward one another, with footwells pointing toward the neighboring seat — eliminating aisle access from the window position and creating an intimate-but-exposed feel in the middle. There are no privacy dividers or partitions between seats. The cabin is equipped with the Panasonic eX2 AVOD system with a personal screen at each seat, Bose noise-canceling headphones, and two power outlets per seat pair located under the center console. Inmarsat GX satellite Wi-Fi is available throughout. Amenity kits include the standard socks, eyeshades, earplugs, and toiletries.

Cabin Highlights

  • Bose noise-canceling headphones at every seat
  • Panasonic eX2 AVOD with on-demand entertainment
  • Inmarsat GX satellite Wi-Fi available inflight
  • Two power outlets per seat pair under the center console

Strategic Seating

Best Rows
  • Row 1 (bulkhead) window seats for maximum legroom and no forward neighbor
  • Any window seat (A/K) for forward-facing orientation and slightly more foot separation
Rows to Avoid
  • Center seats (D/G) in all rows — angled toward seatmate, knees can touch when both reclined, and virtually no privacy
  • Rear mini-cabin (rows 6–7) for lighter sleep — closer to galley noise

How to book this cabin

Airlines may change equipment at any time. To ensure you get the A330-300 (333), always check the seat map during and after booking.

Look for these hints:

  • Look for "A330-300" or "333"
  • 2-2-2 layout with center pairs angled slightly toward each other — no dividers between seats
  • Window seats (A/K) face forward; center pairs (D/G) face inward toward each other
  • Window-seat passengers must step over the reclined aisle passenger to reach the aisle
  • No mattress pad — thin blanket and pillow only
  • Panasonic eX2 screen mounted on the forward bulkhead/console; Bose headphones clipped to seat
