Qatar Airways A350-900 Qsuite cabin
Qatar Airways Qsuite · Airbus A350-900Config 359

Qatar Airways Q Suite on the A350-900 is a fully enclosed private suite in a 1-2-1 staggered configuration, giving every passenger direct aisle access. This is the retrofitted Q Suite variant, found on 10 of Qatar's 34 A350-900s and distinct from the open-shell Super Diamond seats on the rest of the sub-fleet. Each suite features the same Collins Aerospace sliding privacy door found across the Q Suite family on the 777-300ER, 777-200LR, and A350-1000, sealing the suite from the aisle and neighbouring rows. The cabin spans 9 rows (36 suites total), with alternating forward- and rear-facing orientations throughout. Centre-section pairs are separated by a moveable divider that can be lowered to create a double bed, and four centre seats can be combined into a quad suite for groups or families. The seat converts to a fully flat lie-flat bed. Soft product includes White Company bedding and a padded mattress overlay, along with pyjamas and slippers in dedicated Business kits. Dine-on-demand service runs throughout the flight from the dedicated Qsuites menu. Oryx One IFE provides on-demand entertainment. Each suite has 110v power and USB charging; Starlink Wi-Fi is equipped on this variant.

Strategic Seating

Best Rows
  • Window seats in odd-numbered rows (rear-facing orientation, slightly more private feel)
  • Rows 1–2 for extra forward space and proximity to the forward galley
  • Centre seats in rows 4–6 for couples wanting a double-bed or quad configuration mid-cabin
Rows to Avoid
  • Row 9 window seats — closest to the galley and lavatory area at the rear of the business cabin
  • Forward-facing centre seats — no window view and less natural light

How to book this cabin

Airlines may change equipment at any time. To ensure you get the A350-900 (359), always check the seat map during and after booking.

Look for these hints:

  • Look for "A350-900" or "359"
  • Sliding door panel on the aisle side of every suite — distinguishes this from the open-shell Super Diamond on the sibling A350-900 sub-fleet
  • Alternating forward/rear-facing orientation row-by-row in the staggered 1-2-1
  • Moveable centre console between middle pairs that folds flat to create a double bed
  • 9 rows of 4 suites (36 total) — compact single-cabin layout without a rear mini-cabin
  • Angled suite structure with large side countertop, storage pockets, and a dedicated personal wardrobe area
