Qatar Airways 777-300ER Qatar Airways Business Class cabin
Qatar Airways Qatar Airways Business Class · Boeing 777-300ERConfig 77W

Qatar Airways' older MiniPod business seat, a 2-2-2 lie-flat that predates the Qsuite retrofit. It survives on two 777-300ER cabin sizes: the 42-seat version (AeroLOPA `qr-77i`), seven rows of six abreast, and a 24-seat two-class version (`qr-77n-2`) of four rows. The seat is fully flat, but window passengers in A and K have no direct aisle access and must step over the adjacent passenger to get out. Privacy partitions separate adjacent seats. There are no sliding doors, which is the quickest way to tell this cabin from a Qsuite frame.

Cabin Highlights

  • ✓Fully lie-flat seat in a 2-2-2 layout
  • ✓Two cabin sizes: 42 seats over seven rows, or 24 seats over four rows on the two-class frames
  • ✓Privacy partitions between adjacent seats
  • ✓On-demand in-flight entertainment
  • ✓No sliding doors, unlike the Qsuite on most of the 777-300ER fleet

Strategic Seating

Best Rows
  • Aisle seats (C/D and G/H) for direct aisle access without climbing over a neighbour
  • Row 1 (bulkhead) for extra legroom
Rows to Avoid
  • Window seats (A, K) — no direct aisle access; must step over the adjacent passenger
  • Centre pair seats for solo travellers — less private than aisle/window options

How to book this cabin

Airlines may change equipment at any time. To ensure you get the 777-300ER (77W), always check the seat map during and after booking.

Look for these hints:

  • Look for "777-300ER" or "77W"
  • Six seats across in business (2-2-2), not the 1-2-1 Qsuite
  • No sliding privacy doors
  • Window seats (A, K) require stepping over the neighbour to reach the aisle
  • AeroLOPA sub-fleet codes `qr-77i` (42 seats) and `qr-77n-2` (24 seats)
  • Same MiniPod hardware as the Qatar 777-200LR `qr-77l` sub-fleet
